Welcome at Del Fracasso Kennel and in our web site .

This  will be a good  occasion to get  to know each
other , to show you  our dogs,
their  bloodlines and their show results , but mostly to share this wonderful
breed with you . .
Our first  Mastiff arrived in 1992 .

This was the beginning , then was imported other dogs from UK  .

The combination of these dogs created  DEL FRACASSO  blood lines .
Each dog has its own personality , their temperament is strong and balanced,
friendly , loves children , with a strong instinct to protect  the property and the family .
with these  few words  you will get to know our  opinion , our taste and
comments based on our experience, with respect to   the standard approved by
the FCI .

This is the esclusive land reserved for our Mastiffs

The head should be  wide as possible between the ears , with a
sharp stop , wide muzzle
plenty of lips  but not excessive , tryng to achieve a perfect square  .
The eyes should be small and well inserted, the darker the better ;
unfortunately, I  have seen dogs with round and  light eyes  that ruin the
mastiff's typical expression .
We love dogs with  heavy bone and good length of body .
The average weight of our bitches  is 85 Kilo to 100 kilo (190 to 220 lbs)   and  95 to 120
Kilo  for the males ( 210 to 260 lbs )  .
Rarely have we  seen a dog of great quality with lesser weight.
Our selection tries to archieve these goals, since WE HAVE often seen
Mastiffs that were too small

We would like to know what  want and expect, since  we think that the
small number of mastiff sold is due to the breeders not putting a strong effort in
choosing the studs ,  obtaining  dogs lacking  substance and type .

We will be happy to answear  any question and to meet  anyone who loves these dogs
just like us .
